James Ndayishimiye, a native of Congo and an Eastern Kentucky-bound senior at Lafayette High in Kentucky, joins DyeStat's Todd Grasley to discuss competing Nov. 19 at the Nike Southeast Regional at WakeMed Soccer Complex in Cary, N.C. Ndayishimiye won the Kentucky Class 3A state championship Oct. 28 at the Kentucky Horse Park and is making his debut at NXR Southeast, looking to advance to compete Dec. 2 at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon. The race will mark the first regional competition in cross country or track for Ndayishimiye.
